Venue + colour

The Venue design philosophy is all about making products that last, free from transient fashion trends that can render perfectly useful products obsolete too soon. This means that we have also taken a simple and classic approach to colour. The use of black and white for frames and tops, with the addition of Oak for table tops is a classic enduring approach that never goes out of fashion.

However, we know that colour is often used to set the mood of a space depending on its function, size and character. Understanding this is important to interior designers, the simplicity of Venue Tables means that they are very adaptable and carry colour extremely well. Even using either a black or white frame, a lot can be done with the tabletop. It can be made from a wide choice of materials such as solid-core laminate, plywood with an exposed edge, coloured laminates and wood veneers. The shape of the tabletop and its finish can be used effectively to help tune Venue to the style of the setting. As the tabletop is the most noticeable feature of the table, and touched by those who use it, the surface finish and edge detail make a lasting impression.

It is possible for other colours to be applied to the frame, including the ability to mix the colours of each frame component to create a very distinct multi-coloured look. For outdoor use or to increase the specification further, the frame can be stainless steel. When used with a solid wood top with a radius edge profile an occasional table takes on a different quality and a classic style that will last for many years.
